          In its 25-year history, the Housing Division of the State of Nevada Department of Business and Industry has assisted about 30,000 qualified individuals and families in achieving homeownership or locating affordable rental housing through its single-family mortgage and multi-family project bond financing programs.
          For the past 14 years, Charles "Chas" Horsey has administered the division's programs. In that time, he said, he has seen the role of the agency evolve.

    Summerlin nets residents' stamp of approval

    Summerlin has proved to be overwhelmingly popular with its residents, according to a national real estate consulting firm. A survey conducted by Robert Charles Lesser & Co. shows Summerlin received a 97 percent approval rating from its residents.
