US Home builds at Spanish Springs

SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

Nearly two dozen homes, including the models, are under construction at US Home's Spanish Springs neighborhood in the northwestern valley. The builder's "best selling" floor plans are available, according to Mike DeSilva, president of the company's Las Vegas division.

"Our customers who have seen our communities in Seven Hills, Green Valley Ranch and Southern Highlands have been asking us for years for the same kind of gated, luxury communities in the northwest area. Spanish Springs will have a lushly landscaped gated entry ... and a cul-de-sac street design (with) Lone Mountain as a backdrop."

Pre-construction pricing is in effect at the neighborhood, where buyers can choose from six floor plans. Homes measure from 2,550 to 4,500 square feet. Each offers expandable square footage and myriad interior and exterior options.

Prices start from the low $300,000s.

"We are offering four really large single-level plans up to almost 4,000 square feet, plus our best selling two-story San Clemente and our spectacular all new two-story Coronado," DeSilva said.

The 4,400-square-foot Coronado can be built with three to five bedrooms and four baths.

Interior highlights include 10-foot ceilings, 7- and 8-foot high doors, and formal living and dining rooms. The family room contains a storage closet.

The island kitchen features granite counter tops, a pantry, nook with bay windows, as well as doors leading to the rear yard.

On the second level is the master bedroom with a double-door entry, coffered ceiling, expansive windows, dual walk-in closets, as well as a sitting room. The bath provides dual vanity areas and a linen closet.

The home's exterior displays varied roof lines, turret entry towers and a split three-car garage. Options include stone facing, iron-work balconies, an entry gate and a walled courtyard entry.

A model of the Coronado is under construction at Spanish Springs, however a finished model is at the builder's Aberdeen neighborhood in Southern Highlands.

The two-story San Clemente measures 3,880 square feet, and is expandable to 4,578 square feet.

The single-story floor plans at Spanish Springs measure from 2,550 to 3,719 square feet. Each of these plans is expandable.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Craig Road, go west to Durango Drive and go north. Turn left on Lone Mountain Road and proceed to Fort Apache Road.

The sales office is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
